Carolina Polyglot, Inc. is a
Translating/Interpreting and Tutorial Company. This company is
founded by Mr.
William DePaula in 1971. Since then Carolina
Polyglot is serving both Carolinas and is also a corporate
member of the American Translators Association
(ATA).
Mr. DePaula is a founder and President of
Carolina Polyglot. He is also a founding member of
Carolina Association of Translators and Interpreters(CATI). Mr. William
DePaula was a former United Nations simultaneous interpreter,
with experience in the Romance languages: FROM and
TO English.
The Romance languages are
Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Romanian.
Carolina Polyglot, in Charlotte, works with a team of
26 translators, in 51 languages. Now an advancement in
technology enables the Carolina Polyglot, Inc. to serve
the entire world and enjoy to help people, businesses,
schools, colleges, hospitals, law firms, and profitable and
non-profitable organizations, for their translations
and interpretations needs.
The founder of
Carolina Polyglot has been honored to be the
simultaneous interpreter for Clinton/Dole debate, in
San Diego, and for 1997's State of the Union Address. It was
estimated that President Clinton reached an audience of
130 million Hispanics.
Recently Carolina
Polyglot, has been appointed to chair the International
Committee of a Special task force formed to elevate the
Charlotte Immigration and Naturalization Service Office
to a new district, to be called Carolinas INS District.
The International Committee is one of the eight committees of
the newly appointed task force, which will compile and provide
all the data to be presented by Rep. Sue Myrick before
the Appropriations Committee fo the U.S House fo
Representatives.
